Do you have parking facilities?

For the majority of our assessment centres, we have arranged for free parking. Please speak to the receptionist on arrival.

Heathrow 

Free Parking at the Hotel Car Park (please enter your car registration number plate inside the hotel or at reception).

South Mimms

Free Parking at the Hotel Car Park (please enter your car registration number plate at reception).

South London (Croydon) 

Free Parking (1 min walk from clinic) at the TK Maxx Store Car Park - 1 Drury Cres, Purley Way, Croydon, CR0 4XU)

OR

Nearest Station (2 min walk from clinic) is Waddon Marsh Train Station

Luton

You may park at the 'NCP Car Park Luton Regent Street', which is adjacent to the Premier inn Hotel. Please give your parking ticket to the receptionist at the hotel who will validate your parking ticket.

Essex (Brentwood)

Where can I obtain a D2 form?

We cannot issue D2 forms, but you can order your pack via the link below. Please complete the D2 form and access the DVLA website for further information should you require it.

What do I need to bring to the appointment?

Please look at our D4 webpage for details.

Can I still drive if I am close to the expiry date?

If you have sent the form close to the expiry date and haven’t received your licence back, you are still legally entitled to drive under Section 88 of the Road Traffic Act 1988.

What if I need to re-arrange my appointment time/location?

You can rearrange your appointment up to 12 hours prior to your appointment, by accessing the confirmation email you would have received after booking.

What if I turn up late for my appointment?

We recommend you attend at least ten minutes early to your appointment. Our lists are normally full, and we will not be able to delay the entire clinic.

If you are more than ten minutes late you are required to email and re-arrange.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

You can cancel your appointment up to 12 hours prior to your appointment, by accessing the confirmation email you would have received after booking your medical.

Please be aware that we will not be able to provide you with a refund, however you will be able to re-arrange your appointment, at no additional cost. Please see below FAQ.

How long should the appointment last?

The one-to-one examination will take approximately 10 minutes.

What if I fail the eye test?

We will signpost you to the nearest optician for further assessment. This will be required prior to us fully completing the driver medical assessment.

How long is my D4 medical form valid for?

A D4 medical is valid for four months from the date of completion.

What if I develop a new medical condition?

It is your responsibility to promptly inform the DVLA of any changes to your health at all times. Please see the link below for specialised details.
